The Bollywood Dance Workout

So many people shun working out because they find it boring.

For me, it’s never boring because over the years my work-outs are always a variety: yoga, Pilates, light weights, bike riding, swimming, kick boxing, low impact aerobics, power walking, etc.

Last night I discovered the Bollywood Dance workout — a workout that even a klutz (with minimal rhythm) like myself can do! Simple, fun movements that really make you work up a sweat — and feel sexy while doing so!

These dance movements combine techniques of yoga and Pilates. After the workout I felt so energized! And definitely a work out that doesn’t seem like work!

  • I have a video similar to this. It’s great. I love the way they dance and how happy they are. I love all things Indian…what a cool culture.

    • Yes, she kept saying, “Smile” during the dance. I love all things Indian too, the spirituality, the clothes, and of course THE FOOD! I didn’t jump on the Bollywood band wagon when it was trendy in 2001, I was into all this stuff in the 1980s and I know you were too ;)
