  • CORRECTION REQUESTED. Though your northjersey.com article is good (and accurate) news, please correct the statements in your blog to match the article. That is, Pamela is the first from the Paterson Charter School to be accepted to the Ivy Leagues, but she is not “the first Paterson, New Jersey student to get accepted into an Ivy League college”! Your own article notes that she’s “the second Ivy Leaguer Paterson has produced in the past two years,” since Amir Budhai got into Columbia last year. Also, don’t forget that the City of Paterson has existed for hundreds of years, and a number of the Ivy League’s colleges have been around even longer: during that time, the Ivy League has admitted (and graduated) no shortage of Patersonians, including for example Senator Lautenberg, Allen Ginsberg, etc., etc.
