Baby Pigeon in Keyport

SAM_0760How precious is this?!

After church my husband and I headed to Keyport for some lunch, antique shopping and a walk by the water.

In one of the antique shops I had to use the bathroom and the sales lady said I might hear a baby pigeon who was residing outside behind the bathroom and if you look through the window you could see it.

I was like, “REALLY? Can you show me?” So she took me around the back, outside and sure enough, there was this sweet little cutie pie! Then I went back in the store to get my husband and he took this adorable shot!

  • So cute! We have a couple of baby robins in one of our trees. Mommy says if the pesky squirrels get those sweet little birds she’s going to ring their furry necks with her bare hands. Yea! My mommy doesn’t like squirrels, either. 🙂

    • Aw, I love squirrels! We had a wonderful wonderland in our backyard until the stray cats took over. Now we can’t even put up a bird feeder because it will be a trapping zone for the cats! After my husband cleaned two dead birds out of our yard — that was that! Prior, it was amazing — cardinals, blue jays, morning doves, chipmunks, groundhogs, rabbits — we had a regular zoo until the cats ruined it! One year we even had baby ground hogs! It was the most precious thing!

      • The squirrels are ok as long as they stay in the yard. It’s when they somehow find their way into the attic that my mommy starts to have a problem with them. And my squirrel chases are actually a little half-hearted. It’s as if I really just want them to be my friends and then I feel rejected when they run away. 😦

  • What do you think?
