This is a week of crazy — good crazy.
It started off Tuesday, reporting on Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day, reporting for Paterson Press. The Ridgewood Ben & Jerrys gave away their free cones to benefit Paterson’s Habitat for Humanity. It was a gorgeous day and I had a taste of the fabulous banana/peanut butter yogurt.
Wednesday night I gave a lecture on the benefits of raw food at Long Valley Library. It was fantastic! I had a great turn out of 15 women who said it was “excellent.” I made a raw chocolate banana pudding and other guests made wonderful salads, raw kale chips and raw flax crackers.
Then last night was my first book reading/signing at Manasquan Public Library. Another gorgeous night and a lot of fun — especially since before I had a drink at this cool restaurant called The Squan: http://www.squantavern.com/ and got to hang out with our cool friend Ron. The three of us returned to The Squan after the reading for dinner. Lots of fun, laughs and great conversation!

Now heading out today to give a lecture about “Remember Our Pets and What They Mean to Us” at an assisted living facility — coincidentally on National Pet Day!
GREAT WEEK – LIFE IS GOOD!
