It was fabulous going to see Duran Duran last night at Terminal 5. I was a fan from day one, back in the 1980s when they had just one album. I saw them at The Ritz in New York City around that time. The entire building was shaking — that was how much fans were dancing and getting into it. Then I saw them in a larger arena, not long after, warming up for Blondie.

Last night’s show, once again, delivered. They are promoting their new album “Paper Gods” and delivered old favorites. For me, the highlights were “Planet Earth,” “Come Undone” and “White Lines.”

Once again, it was like that old show at The Ritz. Except for a vast library of new(er) music, time had stood still.
