My mom, Charlotte, in her 40s, back in the 1980s
In two weeks my mother will be 80. She doesn’t like having her picture taken, but the one above she always liked. I took it in the late 1980s. She was in her mid-40s and I was in my mid-20s.
Here is another photo of my mom, above, — from the 1970s!
This looks like an amusement ride. There was a place in Pinebook, New Jersey called “Kiddie Land.” I’m guessing that’s where this was.
My mom when she was a little girl
My mother was born in 1943, so this is probably late 1940s or early 1950s at the latest.
With my mom, May 2021, celebrating her birthday (She had just turned 78! and I was 57!)
This was one of the most fun days my sister and I had with my mom in recent years. We took her on a shopping spree for her birthday and let her pick out all the clothes she wanted. We all had so much fun!
Unlike myself, my mom is a very private person. But I know she won’t mind me sharing that she loves Elvis Presley, all kinds of animals, playing Uno and Scrabble, and gourmet olive oils.
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms and pet moms!

Your mom looks beautiful and stilyst. I am sure she is a beautiful woman with a kind heart.
Thanks so much!! Yes; she’s very generous and especially loves animals. She sits outside and feeds squirrels. She has her favorites (she likes the “bully” squirrels that fight for the nuts because they are funny!) There’s also a stray cat she lets into her house to wander around and cuddle with her. She could be in the worse mood, but talk about animals and she perks right up. 🙂
Squirell is such cute animal. I love squirell too. Especially not the straight tail. Here in tropical country, the squirells have straight tail. They are brown colour not grey.
I love all kinds of squirrels. We have mostly gray ones, but I’ve seen brown ones. And in NYC I’ve seen black squirrels too!
Beautiful lady. 🩶
Thank you so much! 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day to you – and your Mom, too! My Mom died when I was in my twenties, but here’s a “cheesecake” photo of her taken way back when:

Wow, that’s adorable!!
So sorry you lost her so young.
