October 2020, Weehawken, NJ

I was honored to work with photographer Joseph Shade of Crimrise Photography, last week. He’s an incredible photographer and we had a great time working together.

Autumn in New Jersey is absolutely amazing. It was so windy, especially by the waterfront, but as you can see in this shoot — it worked in our favor!

With this shoot, I want to encourage all women over 50 that we are still beautiful, relevant, and modern! I turned 57 on August 19 — and am proud of it!

Business Media

social media

Hello all!

Okay, here’s the scoop … in the past I never liked Face Book, Twitter or Linked-In. I used them for three years and honestly, I deleted them because I get the most work via my personal website/newsletter: www.peartreeenterprises.com

In fact, 100 percent of my “repeat” clients are through my website, so I have been getting by without the use of Face Book, Twitter or Linked-In.

But seems as I’ll be doing more promotional work with clients, it’s important that I have a presence on these social networks.

So, if anyone wants to connect via these social media links for business reasons, please do so. (Note: I’m using these links for business, not social so in reality they should be called “business media” — not “social media” — but whatever!).

Let’s all help each other build!

My skills: writing, editing, ghost writing, typing, proofreading, marketing/sales, personal assistance.

And if anyone needs a 40+ model, I’m available. Check out the cool photos I did with photographer Darlene Foster on my Pinterest page! http://pinterest.com/mrsmistretta/darlene-foster-photos-i-modeled-for/

Another Darlene Foster Feature Photo

Deliverance 2013“Deliverance” by Darlene Foster

The above is another one of Darlene Foster’s creations called “Deliverance.”

This is Darlene’s newest creation from a series of photos I modeled for her back in October, 2010. We spent an entire day working together (after I had just been in a car accident, but as they say, “on with the show!”)

I’m always fascinated to see what Darlene comes up with next.

My AMAZING Friend Darlene!

(Left to right – Me and Darlene)

You never know when you’re going to meet the coolest people!

I met Darlene shortly after I started dating my husband seven years ago because she is the long-long time girlfriend of my husband’s cousin Tommy.

I liked Darlene right off the bat because she was a vegetarian, into animals, music and photography.

Here is her website: DARLENE FOSTER

In October 2010 Darlene asked me if I’d model for her and we spent an entire day working together. Prior to the shoot, I was in a car accident. I was dizzy, upset, and seeing stars, but I couldn’t disappoint Darlene — that’s how much I adore her!

It’s a good thing I didn’t cancel, we had a blast and got some great shots. And Darlene’s finishing touches created some true magic! Here are some shots from that day:

And here we are in an Asbury Park photo booth:

This past weekend we got to celebrate Darlene’s birthday (which is really in October, but we got side-tracked by Hurricane Sandy).

We had a wonderful lunch at the Stage House Tavern in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

And since Darlene loves Meerkat Manor, I gave her this adorable snow globe!

I LOVE YOU DARLENE, MY BEAUTIFUL (INSIDE & OUT) FRIEND!

You are like a sister to me!

True friendships are one of God’s Greatest Blessings!
