First Ever National Bombshell Day!

I was thrilled to check out fellow WordPress bloggers, National Day Calendar (http://nationaldaycalendar.com/latest-posts/) and learn that today is the first “National Bombshell Day.” Nothing is better than a day that celebrates WOMEN! (Am I right, guys?)

National Bombshell Day was started by Victoria’s Secret for women to encourage their inner bombshell and spoil themselves all day with their girlfriends!

Now, those who follow me know what a girly girl I am. I just love to spend free time with my girlfriends. And this week seemed to be the “cry on shoulders” week and I feel insanely blessed that my most awesome friends Diane, Shaolin and fellow blogger Joanne Best were there for me this week! I’m feeling much better today and am going to treat myself to something spiritual to truly unwind today! (I’ll share details after the event today).

But back to BOMBSHELL …

I’d like to take the opportunity, today, to illustrate that ALL WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL! All ages, all sizes, all heights. And it’s so important to embrace that because no matter how un-supermodel you may be, there’s someone special out there to love you just as you are!

I’m only 5’3″ and 125 pounds — far from thin. My physical flaws are many: I have a lump on my nose, my eyes are too close together, one breast is bigger than the other, and my hair is fine (but thank God I have a lot of it!) The only thing I do like about myself is my butt — which never seems to fall or age! And my back too, which is still as tight and muscular as it was when I was 18.

However, flaws mean nothing when you have a husband who adores you just the way you are! What a blessing! I can be dressed to the nines, or in sweatpants with no make-up and my hair in a bun and my husband will always tell me how great I look and how much he loves me.

But I would never be so loved if I didn’t love myself first. So, ladies, start loving yourself TODAY! Have so much confidence that you can tell other ladies how lovely they look and not feel intimidated. Love yourself so much that you become so happy to see the beauty in everyone else too! Guys love ladies with confidence, I was told a long time ago. If you have no confidence, fake it ’til you make it! And smile!

I bless everyone reading with beauty, good health and lots of love! Rock on ladies, you got it going on! xoxoxo
